Statement of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Principles

As an independent company, Sinclair Method UK recognises our role within a wider society. We aim to minimise our environmental impact, improve affordable access to care, support local communities and charities, and uphold a culture of dignity, diversity and inclusion.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is meaningful to us. As we grow, we will monitor these issues continuously and adapt our work in line with best practice.

Environment

  • Remote-first care: We work by phone or online wherever possible, eliminating unnecessary travel for clients and staff, reducing emissions and protecting privacy.
  • Low-impact meetings: We make extensive use of secure video conferencing; when face-to-face is required, we prioritise the most eco-friendly transport available.
  • Responsible resources: We keep consumables to an absolute minimum and favour recycled/recyclable materials wherever possible.

Economy & Access

  • Reducing societal costs: Alcohol misuse has significant economic and health impacts. By helping individuals reduce consumption, we help ease pressures on families, workplaces and public services.
  • Affordability: We believe The Sinclair Method should be widely accessible. Our pricing model is designed to keep treatment as affordable as possible.
  • Support during hardship: In response to COVID-19, we offered discounted rates for people receiving UK government benefits during lockdown and for several months thereafter.

Society & Community

  • Healthier communities: Helping people reduce alcohol use can lower risks of domestic abuse, relationship breakdown, job loss, hospitalisation, alcohol-related violence and criminal convictions.
  • Local partnerships: We work with and support local businesses, including the pharmacy that dispenses prescriptions issued by our GPs.
  • Charitable giving: Our sponsorships reflect our background in the charity sector and our belief that those who give back deserve recognition and support.

Diversity, Dignity & Inclusion

  • Zero tolerance: We have zero tolerance for bullying, harassment or discrimination of any kind—within our company, with clients or in external dealings.
  • Respect for all: We are committed to an inclusive culture that treats everyone with dignity, irrespective of background, identity or circumstance.

Review cycle: This statement is reviewed regularly and updated to reflect current best practice and our ongoing CSR commitments.
