Social Responsibility
Sinclair Method UK takes social responsibility very seriously. We have a duty to act in the best interests of both the environment and society as a whole.
In our previous capacity as a charitable enterprise – the award-winning C3 Foundation Europe – we witnessed first-hand how smaller, not-for-profit organisations were severely affected by the Covid-19 situation. Indeed, this is what ultimately led to the closure of C3 Foundation Europe. The formation of Sinclair Method UK in its place followed. Although difficult at the time, that decision has enabled us to do more to help others in the longer term.
Our commitment to social responsibility led us to put in place a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, which has three aims;
- Firstly, to commit to providing sponsorship to at least one not-for-profit organisation every year.
- Secondly, to set aside a yearly budget to help not-for-profit organisations recover and grow.
- Thirdly, to reduce the environmental impact of our daily work footprint as much as possible.

Partnership of Charity Today Awards
We are delighted to announce our partnership with Charity Today, to bring the national UK Charity Today Awards back to its first in-person awards ceremony since the Covid pandemic!
The national Charity Today Awards are very close to our hearts. In 2019, we were the proud winners of the Health & Social Care Award – under our previous name of C3 Foundation Europe.
We are passionate about supporting charities and non-profit organisations to grow. With this aim in mind, in addition to personal recognition for volunteers, each award winner will also receive a cash donation to their cause from Sinclair Method UK.
Read more about our partnership on the official Charity Today Awards 2023 page. Further information will follow nearer the time.

Sponsorship of UK Charity Week
Following the success of our sponsorship of #UKCharityWeek in 2021, we are very pleased to announce that we are returning as the main sponsor in 2022!

#UKCharityWeek returns for the 10th year, and this year’s theme days include: Celebration of Charity, #give5day, #CharityBIGBake, #ChristmasJumperDay and ends with #VolunteerDay.
Every day, we will be drawing one lucky volunteer who will receive a Christmas Hamper, courtesy of Sinclair Method UK.

Sponsorship of FCD Events
In 2022, we are very proud to be sponsoring a not-for-profit event organiser to stage their first in-person convention since Covid-19 brought events to a standstill.
Hospitality and Events were two sectors of industry that were particularly badly hit by lockdown restrictions. Event organisers are facing a number of difficulties beginning in-person events again. There are additional cost of ensuring they go ahead in a Covid-safe and responsible manner. Guests are secured on the basis of expected tickets sales. Public trust in events taking place is certainly causing a ‘chicken and egg’ headache for the organisers.
FCD Events Group is the organisation we have chosen to sponsor. Their event Dawn Of The Federation 2 will bring together fans of science fiction at the University of Bolton Stadium, Greater Manchester, in April 2022. For this event, we are their venue sponsors.
The brainchild of Wil Ross and David Limburg, FCD Events are run by the fans, for the fans. As we considered possibilities for our 2022 program, it quickly became apparent that providing sponsorship to an organisation in this sector would be very welcome. We were not wrong! It is going to be the greatest of pleasure to help promote the event and take just a little of the financial uncertainty off the organisers.
Unfortunately, due to ill health of one of the FCD Events team, Dawn Of The Federation 2 has been postponed indefinitely.

Sponsorship of UK Charity Week
In 2021, we were very proud to become the main sponsor #UKCharityWeek2021 operated by Charity Today. Held in the first full week of December, the event helped to raise awareness and funds for charities.
We also chose to expand our sponsorship by funding a volunteer prize draw. This began in September 2021 and finished during Charity Week itself, in December. Each partner charity nominated two unpaid volunteers for a special draw in which they could be the lucky winners of hampers, spa days, and other prizes. This was to recognise and say ‘Thank You’ to those who have gone above and beyond for their favourite charity during a very difficult year.
